Established in 1984, ICT are a business-to-business service who offer coach operator customers a tour package booking service. Tours are in the UK and Europe. ICT have offices in Bromley, East London and Sheffield.
Brief
Each year, ICT printed a directory which is known as the operators “bible” as it is a reliable and invaluable source of information. In order to cut the cost of production of the directory and to focus more on a product-based, rather than location-based package, ICT asked Ortegra to create a more comprehensive Knowledgebase Application, which will be available online, with new designs set out as part of a new web-site and which will continue to provide tour operators with information, pictures and data in a format which, when printed, closely resembles the original directory.
In order to put this application into place, a new back-end database and web front-end was required.
